the birth of rhaenyra targaryen was a tragedy, the realm claimed. they had hardly finished mourning her father, when the birthing bed took lady jocelyn as well. what room was there left in the world for the sister of a queen who would never be? a dragon alone in the world is a dangerous thing, after all.
