After touching a mysterious artifact, Cody's general is suddenly a child with the memories to match. Cody has to coax a suspicious adolescent back to base without alerting the nearby Separatists of their presence.
Reversing his general's age an easier fix than Cody thought it would be, but he didn't factor in the possibility that Obi-Wan might not want to give up his self in order to become General Kenobi again. It'd be easier to think if he didn't have an insidious voice in his head, whispering to him to distrust the Jedi.

A lurch of fury chokes Anakin—he hates Qui-Gon for making Obi-Wan feel stupid, wants to hurt him for it. But the anger swiftly gives way to something else, something more powerful. A curiosity. A hope. “We could pretend,” he says quietly, licking his lips because they feel very dry very suddenly. “I mean, I could pretend to be your Master and show you how I do it. Maybe it would help.”
For a few seconds, Anakin thinks Obi-Wan will balk, but instead he straightens up, reaches for his hair and twists a copper filament of it around his finger before asking, “you wouldn’t mind?”

There are troopers and guards everywhere in the Galactic City, and Plo is regrettably a celebrity among the general populace now. Getting out of the Temple unseen is not difficult when one is friends with a man unafraid to pull a fire alarm lever but getting across the city to the GAR base proves to be a much greater obstacle.
Thankfully, there are people like Jackal, who see him coming from a mile away and who call their brothers over.
They give Plo a helmet.
He is very tall for a clone trooper.
(Maul vanishes in the wake of the Chancellor's death. Plo sets out to find him to demand answers and, he hopes with all his heart, to bring him back home.)

The thing is, when Anakin figures it out, is that it all obviously has been there, if he’d only cared to look for it.
And, admittedly, he is angry. Mostly at himself, which isn’t something that happens very often, so it’s an especially harrowing realization.
All these years, he thinks, I’ve been so blind. I was so busy ignoring everything I didn’t want to think about and blaming everyone else for things not under their control that I didn’t stop to look at the bigger picture.
He sighs and leans back in his chair to gaze at the ceiling.
If only, he laments, true remorse coloring his thoughts, I had started watching period holodramas earlier.
OR, how Plo Koon watching and subsequently introducing Ahsoka to Star Wars’ version of Downton Abbey changes Anakin's life path like nothing else could.
