Summary
11 years after Jisung and Felix's abduction and rescue, their kidnappers are released from prison and pick up where they left off with one being out for revenge. Jisung begins to experience hallucinations again and starts to question his sanity. Is he really seeing Minho or is his brain playing tricks on him? Seungmin struggles to comfort his partner through his worsening mental health struggles.
Felix is being bullied at work by his coworkers who force him to confront his past in a less than tasteful way. Chan struggles with letting go of the reins of his friends and lover while resolving his increasing anger issues. When he learns that Hyunjin and Minho are released from prison, he begins to spiral and lean heavily on Changbin who struggles with his own stresses from keeping his own emotions pushed down in order to support his friends.

Summary
It all starts with the end.
Han Jisung (a clumsy chemistry student with a painful past) crosses paths with Lee Minho (better known as Venom, the new leader of the notorious Vipers) when two kilograms of Venom's cocaine are mistakenly delivered to Jisung's doorstep, then lost by Jisung himself, under circumstances the idiot cannot remember.
Minho accuses him of theft, giving Jisung a fourteen day deadline to either find and give back the cocaine, pay an impossible debt, or take the mysterious third option which, Jisung assumes, has to mean death.
In his desperate quest for a way out, Jisung stumbles through a waking nightmare: unexpected connections between Minho and people he thought he could trust, mysterious news articles, abandoned mansions, crime scenes, black-tie parties, chaebol gossip, mafia families, escaping gunfire on the back of Minho's motorcycle.
But every single path only leads him back to the night he lost the drugs, and to unanswerable questions:

“We can't." Jisung squeezes his eyes shut and puts his hands to Minho's shoulders to stop him. He tries really really hard to not think about the warmth and the muscle firm under his palm.
"What?" Minho says, voice quiet and confused. It makes something in Jisung ache.
Jisung opens his eyes and sees Minho blinking at him. His mouth's parted too. Jisung looks away, trying to stay strong.
“We can't—" He scrambles to find the right words. "You know."
