Legundo doesn't talk about what led him to the dragon rider's academy. It's too fresh, too painful. He just wants a new life where he can be useful, be helpful. Its just him, his Daemon and, now, his dragon. His dragon! Why should he focus on the past when there's a whole new life unfolding in front of him?
Only, Legundo has never been around so many Daemon-hybrids before and he's discovering very quickly that for all that Olsted taught him alchemy and tinkering, he neglected A LOT of other, very important things that he really should have known. Nesting? Co-grooming? Grappling? Words that he knows the dictionary definitions for, but in practice he's stumbling around blindly.
Enter Juniper. She just wanted a friend, and someone she could trust with her last letter, but instead she ended up with a very anxious, clueless puppy to look after. Well, no matter! He's her responsibility now and she looks after what she claims as hers.
Now if only he would stop being such a brat, everything would be perfect.

Summary
Stalking his way past the vines covering the entrance into the human crypt settled something deep in Scott's chest. The closer to the buried he got, the more the shadows around him raged. The more the ice crept over his hands.
Scott, in complete and utter honesty, had never noticed how his magic had a mind of its own. It grew around his heart protectively, it wrapped its claws around those who wished to harm him and carved out their guts. It did more for home than he'd ever seen another's magic do for them. It was his fault really, for not looking further into the magic he had and the things which wavered under his gaze.
AKA: Horror version of Scott's interaction in the crypt from the other day!

Summary
Purple particles engulfed him as he looked one last time across the fields of Thistle Hill. They haven't changed since he left the village. Old, steadfast and beautiful as ever. Legs thought that he might come to regret not spending more time in it. Just lying on a free spot amongst the wheat and looking up towards the stars.
Then again, perhaps he is just getting sentimental. There will be plenty of opportunities to look at nature with his friends at the academy.or; a take on Legs' reunion with his friends, before it actually happened in canon.

Scott's life has been... confusing, to say the least. Ruling an empire is a challenge in itself, not to mention the fact that his brother may or may not be a demon who is spreading corruption around the neighboring kingdoms. Oh yeah, and he is apparently the champion of some sort of ancient stag god, tasked with saving the other empires, even at the cost of his life. No pressure though. He also can't quite shake the feeling that he is being watched.

Summary
Over many years, Scott starts to learn to integrate into normal society, with Shelby's help pf course. He starts to reflect on his past and the things that he did in Oakhurst. He has to work the fine line between empathy and attachment, refusing to get as attached to anyone as he was to Avid. But as decades pass, several interactions with Abolish make him realize that it might be worth trying, just one more time.

Scott has won, and the refugees of Oakhurst are fled, carrying with them the (un)living reminder of his victory and villainy. They have stumbled on help, Wisp Hollow, an Enclave of the hunted and the Other.
But shelter and medicine are only the very first steps in their journey to build a life post-Oakhurst. No one has left the village unscathed, and one of their own faces the very hardest path of all in the aftermath. Wisp Hollow can be their home, if they'll let it, but for some it might very well be their graves instead.
