He should’ve turned away from Flux that day. Should’ve pretended he didn’t notice the unnatural far-away gleam of armour from across the fields of Westhelm. Should've ignored that message amongst the sea of many (Fluixon whispers to you: "I know you can see me"). Should’ve known after hearing about his escape to Yggdrasil, that nothing good could come now that they both stood on the same burnt soil of this island.
He should've known.
And yet, Saps went to Flux. Like a moth to a flame. Like a bee to a flower. Like a man going home.
OR: Before the colosseum, before the Battle of Infernus started, before the Conspiracy had even climbed up the volcano, Saparata and Fluixon exchange a few words with one another.

“I…You didn't really think I’d just…leave Crowley forever, would you?” Aziraphale tries to laugh, but Maggie only stares at him, face gaunt and haunted and crumpling–and oh. Oh dear, she’s crying now. Dread settles itself back home in the pit of Aziraphale's stomach.
“My dear. Please, tell me. Has something happened to Crowley?”
A gasping sob rips out her throat and stabs Aziraphale right in the heart. He does the short journey of closing the menial distance between them.
“Oh. Oh, Mr. Fell.” Maggie forces out in choppy words and breathy exhales. He grabs both of her plump cheeks, wrapping her face in a warm cocoon of soft hands. “He won't wake up.”
“What?” Aziraphale breathes out. Because she must not mean what he thinks she means. She cannot be. Crowley–he’s slept for centuries at times, but that’s just what he did. He slept. A light sleeper in that matter. Just a few shakes on his lithe frame would be enough to rouse him from his slumber. That doesn’t mean–
“He won’t wake up.”

"What if we're not late bloomers?" Deku had asked him once when they were very young. “What if we don’t get our quirks? What if our quirks never come for our whole lives?”
Katsuki hadn't been able to answer, then. All he'd known was that they'd be able to do anything together, even if the hero business tried to spit them out just because they were missing bits and pieces. That was until Deku'd told him the truth, anyway. That he'd been hiding a quirk for ten years and Katsuki had just been stupid and trusting.
He doesn't get into UA. Deku leaves him behind and lives the dream alone. Katsuki picks up modelling and turns out to be surprisingly good at it, and after a while he thinks maybe he can make peace with never becoming a hero. This ain't a bad life, after all. There are stalkers and endless reporters but maybe he can make this work.
For all of six years, anyway. Then he figures out his new neighbour has green eyes and cute freckles. And then, Katsuki thinks, maybe god hates him.

In one world, Katsuki had lost Izuku to Ochako.
In another, Izuku had lost his Kacchan during the Sludge Villain Incident and because of that, he became a villain.
After he was sent to another universe, Villain Izuku refused to go back. He didn't want to go back to a world without Kacchan. So what did he do? He killed himself.
What he didn't expect was to be sent to another universe which has Kacchan who was alive but brokenhearted.
