"Miyuki Kazuya! Get ready to be amazed!" Sawamura beams at him from across the mound. He's gotten taller, his shoulders broader, jawline more pronounced, but he was still the same Sawamura who called him with his full name most of the time, who smiled as brightly as the summer sun, whose eyes shined gold whenever he was on the mound.
I already am, Miyuki thinks as he steps into the batter's box with an excited grin. It's been years since he'd last seen Sawamura's pitches in the batter's box, and even longer as a catcher. His hands ache, that familiar itch of wanting to catch for Sawamura Eijun returns to him in full force.
"Well then, show me what you've got, star pitcher."
or: miyuki kazuya finds out that when life throws you a curveball in the form of a 175 cm pitcher with bright golden eyes, a warm smile, and pitches that make kazuya's blood thrum in excitement, he realizes all he can do is catch him on his mitt and hope to keep him there forever.

Summary
