Shock grips her by the throat as she looks down. Eyes widening as she stares in alarm at the ever-expanding pool of blood spreading beneath his still form. In another world, another time, the Valyrian steel would cut through flesh and sinew and fat. A cut, clean as could be. A blade so sharp, it needed a scar to match. Rhaenyra’s arm forever marred by that memory. Their shared pain made manifest.
