    This was the only human - predominantly human, he amended, he had seen in years. Maybe sort of an asshole, he had used him as a shield, but he hadn't seemed to be trying to hurt him.

    His hand itched to write a pro-con list. The man moaned. It was such a human sound, the type of noise Grace had not heard in literally over a decade. Save him it was.
