Summary
Hobie Brown, Spider-Punk, has no idea how to begin unraveling the Web of Life and Destiny. He can’t even get his own world to commit to crushing capitalism. He’s staring down a fate that’ll strip the meaning of him and he doesn’t know how to escape it.
Maybe no one can. Maybe it's just that he can’t. Maybe it won’t matter. Maybe all good intentions turn to dust in the end and people always climb back into the jaws of the beast and every world is beyond saving and oblivion is the true fate of the universe and the abyss is all there is.
The least he can do, then, is reach out to just one person who's down in this hole with him, and show them he cares.
(Or, Hobie Brown got here too early to make a change. He's still more than enough to make the difference.)
