Evbo had come to the conclusion fairly early on that the particles originated from players, but what he couldn’t quite understand was why some players glowed more than others. Ally, for example, had a faint sheen that hovered around them, floating calmly but sparsely.
Most players were like that, he learned. Some were brighter, some dimmer. Occasionally a player would be so dim that the glow was barely there, but there was always something.

“Is your back still bothering you?” The newly instated Champion fretted. Evbo stiffened instinctively at the question. They were working together with the Command Blocks, the godling working on some of the more complicated commands and teaching EMF as he went.
Evbo didn’t even realize that he was holding himself in such a stiff, pained way. His shoulders were hiked up to his ears, and each breath he took was sharp and strained. He forced a smile and looked back up at his friend.
“It’s fine,” he promised. “I haven’t really let it rest, you know? I’ll be fine in a couple of days.”Evbo is not fine in a couple of days.
