Summary
When things come to a head between Sebastian and Sam, because the lines between friendship and relationship keep blurring, Sebastian sets out to find solace in his old hometown to deal with his increasingly conflicting feelings. He’s expecting a few days of solitude to figure out what he really wants, but isn’t prepared for his world to be turned upside down, as the one person from his past, he vowed never to speak to again sweeps Sebastian off his feet. Faced with old scars and the rekindling of feelings suppressed long ago, Sebastian has to make a choice: will he let his past hold him back or will he finally make his own future.

It had always been his dream to eventually return to Pelican Town after spending his summers there as a child, but when Mallory inherits his grandparents' old farm he is surprised by just how much the town— and more importantly the people in it— have changed. Alex had been his best friend once, but now he was seemingly too busy and too cool for his old friend. Mallory threw away the life he had been building in order to come back home, but nothing is as he remembered it to be. Summary
Sebastian is many different things to many different people...
To his subscribers, he's 'DarkStar'. A faceless explicit camboy whose sharp tongue and sometimes mean attitude is a plus rather than a minus.
To his fans and the public, he's Sebastian. Keyboardist, vocalist and second front man of the world famous band 'XC3'.
To his friends and family, he's just 'Seb'. The same as he's always been, or at least they all assume as such...
It's a struggle to stay on top of being so many different things to so many different people. Especially when he, himself, no longer knows exactly which one of those personas, if any of them, are actually him.
In fact, the only time he can see himself for who he really is... is in the pictures taken and posted by whoever runs XC3XTC, a fan account for Sebastian on Instagram...
A total stranger who truly seems to see him and captures him in images exactly the way he feels....

Sebastian is just trying to make it to the end of the semester. The end of the month, really. Or, even better, the week. His job at the campus radio station is the only reason he hasn’t gone completely off the deep end. Until Alex Mullner agrees to cover the university sports segment for Dan while he’s on a weeks-long sabbatical.
Alex has it all: a gridball scholarship, tons of friends, and the ability to do a 23-second keg stand. He’s the reigning champion, actually. And he’s only agreed to help Dan out because he knows what it’s like to worry about things back home. That, and he’s currently injured.

Sebastian remembers his name. He remembers who is mom is. And, for whatever reason, he remembers Dusty the dog. But aside from that? It's a total blank.
He doesn't even remember the accident that landed him in the hospital for 8 months of recovery...
But after 8 months he's finally going home. Back to Pelican Town, back to his old room (renovated and fixed up by his mom in the 8 months he spent in the hospital) and his home town and all the people who definitely know him...
Even if he doesn't have a clue about who they are.
Finding someone to trust when you're practically groping blindly in the dark is definitely going to be a challenge. But for Sebastian... realizing that he NEEDS someone to trust is the first hurdle to overcome.
Because everyone seems to have secrets... And some are far bigger than others.
(This story was originally called ‘Error 404: Memory Not Found’ but has been renamed after some story chatter with friends that took it in a very different direction. ;) )

After 20 calls from a mystery phone number (who never leaves a message) Sebastian finally answers his phone only to find that it's the LAST person he would ever expect to hear from...
Alex Mullner. Who tells him that his dad has died... And has left a really strange will that he wants Sebastian to go over with him.
Despite having no idea why the hell Alex would want HIM to look over the will with him, Sebastian's curiosity wins out and he agrees to meet with him, which sets off a chain of events that neither of them would EVER have guessed would be possible...
-This is another VERY trope heavy 'How To...' story that absolutely needed to be out into the world. So jump on board if you're looking for fun, hilarity, romance, and probably a great deal of smut with a guaranteed Happily Ever After. <3
