Summary
TL; DR: What if the Phantom had a very angry, very brilliant daughter who has to deal with family drama and childhood trauma catching up with her?
Paris, 1900. Christine Daaé has always been unusual. No one ever expected anything else from the daughter of the Opera Ghost: motherless, raised between the glittering stage and the shadowed labyrinth beneath it, a celebrated soprano with a temper as infamous as her voice. Her world is small, strange, and most importantly stable. Until it isn’t. Her mother returns. Not alone, but with a new family in tow. At the same time, a figure from Christine’s childhood resurfaces, dragging the past with him. Suddenly, the careful balance of Christine’s life fractures and the opera house, with all its drama and excess, begins to feel less like a refuge and more like a stage set for a tragic comedy.
This is a story about (found) family, inheritance in all its forms, and the long shadow of what came before. About friendship, forgiveness, maybe, and the emotional chaos of opera at the turn of the century.
Most of all, it’s about a young woman trying to make sense of it all… and deciding what kind of story she wants to be part of.Updates every Sunday.

Summary
TL;DR "Ah fuck it, I'll marry him and then figure out the rest later" - Christine Daaé, famous last words
------
Imagine Phantom of the Opera (2004): Raoul is gagged and tied up, the opera house is actively burning to the ground, everyone is either furious or heartbroken, and this time Christine Daaé actually says yes. Yes to the man who tricked her, the man whose love for her has turned into something so ugly.
But Christine decides she has had enough of being a passive heroine. Armed with nothing but reclaimed stubbornness, a frantic attempt at manipulation, and a dangerously conflicted heart, she enters a vicious deal of schemes and seduction to win back her freedom from the man who kidnapped her, the Phantom, her captor, her Angel of Music, her singing tutor… and perhaps the only man she cannot stop wanting.
This is a story about obsession, survival, marriage, and the very bad idea of falling in love with the person holding you captive.

Summary
Dearest Christine,
I want you to know first that I did not leave this letter for you by my own hand. I instructed a mutual acquaintance of ours--I do believe you can imagine who--to leave it at your door. I say this because I hope that you’ll understand, and believe, that our encounter three days ago was as much a surprise to me as it was to you. The look of your frightened face haunts me, Christine, and I wish never to be the cause of it again. I have no intention to impose upon your life, and any comfort you draw from that fact will be comfort to me, although I realize I hardly deserve it. You always did have the more charitable heart.
Regards,
Your GhostOr: What if a sexy nightmare of a man engaged in a little self-reflection and made an effort to be generally less awful to be around? What if our lady protagonist got to assert her boundaries and have a little agency, as a treat?
