She punctuates that bewildering sentence with a giggle. Linhardt, for his part, can only half-focus on her words; the rest of his concentration is devoted to keeping Byleth upright.

Kunihiro Horikawa is usually a morning person. For him there’s simply nothing better than waking up to a new dawn, opening the curtains to greet the sun, and having some light breakfast to start the day. And then he usually has to rush to catch his train, because if he takes the second one he winds up twelve minutes late and gets a seven-minute lecture from his supervisor, but that’s just par for the course. Aya fixed her gaze somewhere around her knee and tried to think of literally anything but for the press of Hardy’s shoulder against hers, so close and terribly warm. “I — yeah. Sort of. I-It’s just stuff like — like the chemical composition of Nidoran poison, and stuff…”
“…Err, and… and if they get it wrong?”

It was Izuminokami’s turn to feel caught off-guard. He hadn’t realized the flower was more than a generic flower, and he wasn’t even really sure he knew what a morning glory looked like, but the name did sound nice. Morning glory. Asagao. Face in the morning? He thought about those rare moments he got up early and had to wake Nari up, and he’d peek in her room and catch her in that moment between sleeping and waking, daylight still struggling through the sliding doors, casting pale shadows across her skin; he thought about how he wanted nothing more than to have that face all to himself in the morning, have it be the first thing he saw as a new sun rose.
“Yeah,” he said, “sure is.”

She’s not about to buy it again next time she can’t find her usual brand, though, if it’s strong enough that her students can smell it. Or maybe Lee Jihye is just a weirdo. Equally likely.
Now that she thinks about it, the scent is kind of familiar. But that’s probably just her imagination.
People keep commenting on Han Sooyoung’s new shampoo. She’s got much bigger concerns, like how to stay in touch with the lead actress of her novel’s movie adaptation.
