He just doesn't think one day turns out to be right now. But it makes sense, in a way, when he considers the presence of Clark. Of the only alpha who has gotten so close to him; of the strong, powerful pheromones he has been frequently exposed to, ever since Clark stepped into his life.
So maybe, Clark is the one who finally tipped everything off. The one triggering this inescapable heat in him. Maybe not.
