Damian first noticed he was different when Mother began teaching him colors.
“Colors are everywhere, Habibi,” mother said, walking slowly to allow Damian to toddle beside her. “The colors people chose to wear can tell much about them. Do you know why we wear green, Damian?”
“To show our ties to nature, and our hope to cleanse and balance humanity.” Damian recited, making sure to use every long word his teachers had beaten into him to memorize.
“Ravi has taught you well,” She slowed, and kneeled in front of a flower bush. She picked a small clematis flower. “What color is this, Damian?”
“Blue,” Damian answered quickly, pride filling his chest when his mother gave a nod of approval.
“Your Fathers eyes were blue,” Talia hummed. “A light blue. The same color as your blanket, only more beautiful. What color are mummy’s eyes, Damian?”
“Grey?” Damian guessed.
Talia reached out to push Damian’s bangs back, and place the Clematis behind Damian’s ear. She frowned disapprovingly. “My eyes are green.”

Neil isn’t much taller than Andrew himself but he’s definitely leaner. His auburn hair consists of short wavy strands, high cheekbones a little rosy like he just got exposed to cold. Wrapped in his long grey coat, he has no business looking this well groomed as if they’re in the middle of a cocktail party.
Pale blue eyes focus on Andrew momentarily as a barely there, hesitant smile appears on the guy’s full lips. Then Neil opens his mouth and says “Hello.” in the most fucking posh accent and hell no.
Andrew immediately scowls. “No.”
Neil merely shrugs, easy elegance showing itself in his movement. "Okay."
Andrew decides at the moment he hates this guy with a burning passion.

Amongst the foxes it was well known knowledge that Neil Josten did not actually like movies.
They could see the way his face would scrunch up in distaste if he realized they were watching a film rather than an exy game or playing a board game.
The foxes tried to find movies they thought Neil would like. They really did. But Neil never really seemed to be satisfied with them. About five minutes into every film he would open his mouth and go off on it.
It became somewhat of a fox tradition. Movie nights were also being entertained by Neil’s big mouth night.
Neil didn’t enjoy movies for whatever reason. Maybe he didn’t like how fake they were? Maybe he wasn’t allowed to enjoy something so frivolous? Or maybe he was just insane?
Nicky always said it was the last one. Because who didn’t like movies?
He hoped this next movie night would be different! He had personally selected the movie and got everyone’s favorite snacks to make this night the best one yet.
What could go wrong?
