The Core Four became the Core Seven, a commitment to evil shifting into a commitment to survive, and when they finally got the chance to visit Auradon, it was with one goal only: to free the petty criminals and children of the Isle and leave everyone else there to rot.
It was a large undertaking, but if anyone could do it, it was Mal, with Gil there to support her every step of the way, like a good henchman should.
