Summary
Shigaraki's kiss is nothing but an unplugged defibrillator.
Keigo's kiss halts the rotting of Touya’s decomposing heart, digs out the self-loathing dirt, and croons in the fire of life to get it beating again.
Yet, it is Shouto's simple, "you're awake," that turns the bulletproof shelter of Touya’s self-made destiny into nothing but a glass house, and his, "whatever name I call you, it won't stop me from saving you, onii-san," that knocks it off the table to shatter it completely.
“Let me tell you a story — it’s Shiggy’s favorite.”
Dabi makes sure the two are listening.
“Say there was a city so close to utopia, but that city’s fortune is dependent on a child being locked away in a dungeon and tortured daily. On your eighteenth birthday, you are brought in to see the child. You are then given the option to stay in the city or leave. Which do you choose?”
“Neither choice helps the child, the question inspects individual guilt and capacity for empathy if anything,” Aizawa says.
“What would you choose, Young Dabi-san?” Toshinori asks.
Dabi smirks, “I’d free the kid and help ‘em burn the whole fuckin’ city to the ground.”

Summary
"Oh?" Dabi taunts in that flashfire voice of his; and Hawks is reminded, yet again, how easily he burns. "Tell me, what poor little bastard's gonna be riding your ugly-ass coattails for the next few months?"
Hawks frowns, realizing he's just set up a question he actually has to answer. Dabi will find out anyway, won't he? If there's one thing Hawks has learned, it's that Dabi has his ways. Hawks can never hide anything from him, no matter how hard he tries, a fact that will someday spell his undoing –– but there's no way around it now.
Willing his fight-or-flight instinct into silence, Hawks reminds his sharpened feathers he's not here for either. It'll be fine. The worst part of removing a bandaid is the dread before you rip it off. Right?
So Hawks braces himself, and answers:
"Todoroki Shouto."

Hawks' doomed flight towards the sun is thrown off-course when he receives a surprise request from Endeavor's son, asking to be his work-study student. And soon, Dabi's worst nightmare takes a new form when Shouto joins Hawks' obvious-as-hell spy mission, putting them in forced proximity -- only for him to discover that his father's perfect masterpiece is nothing like he thought he was.
