The more things Shouta noticed, the more his theory of a child-soldier organization gained strength.
He was an energetic child — youthful, he had preened unprompted. A bright kid that strongly reminded him of Hizashi in his younger days, and Shouta was honestly surprised Hitoshi could not only stand that level of energy every day, but actually sought it out.
He was a normal, playful child… except for the fact that, just like Hitoshi, the first thing he did upon entering was identify all entrances, gaze lingering a second too long over the kitchen’s cutlery.

He doesn’t let it stop him. He has a dream too. To prove himself to his teammates, to prove himself to the world. He’ll stop at nothing to be the strongest, with a just heart and a burning optimism for the world he longs to create.
He’s a hero. A hero.
