Jeongin knows there’s no arguing against it. If he wants a spot on the line-up of JYPE’s upcoming boy group, it’s going to be as its leader. The company will accept nothing less.
Or: in a universe where Stray Kids were born in reverse order, Jeongin is appointed as their leader, tasked with the responsibility of making sure all of his members make it to debut. Minho stands up and he frowns, chides, “I didn’t say that.”
Scoffing, Jeongin turns away again.
“So it’s not good, then?”
Minho deliberates before he speaks, choosing his words with care and precision. Not like Jeongin, who blurts out whatever is on his mind even before he knows he’s thinking it.
His breath tickles Jeongin’s ear when he says, “it’s not bad. It can be better.”

“We’ve met, actually,” Minho informs Chan, mercifully tearing his gaze away from Jeongin. He takes a dainty sip of his drink – a cocktail of sorts, tequila sunrise maybe, gauging by its color palette, but Jeongin isn’t an expert on mixology.
“Oh!” Chan seems delighted by this piece of information. “Where?”
“Iyennie had a massive crush on me in high school.”
Jeongin splutters into his glass.
