Will had considered coming clean one night as he and Hannibal sipped wine by the fire, but he just couldn’t see himself murmuring out a metaphoric confession that sounded right.He could just see himself leaning forward, eyes catching the flames of the fire as he held up his wine:
" Do you know where the word clue comes from Hannibal? It comes from the ancient Greek clew, meaning a ball of twine. It was with this clew that Theseus navigated the labyrinth and escaped the Minitour. But tell me, Hannibal — do all men want to escape the monster?
