Katsuki let out a hard laugh. Loud and mean. “Please,” he scoffed. “You really think your half-assed love arrows would work on any of us?” He jabbed a thumb toward Izuku and Shoto, both standing just behind him. “Look at them. Pro heroes. Fully trained. Brains and brawn. You dumb fuck.” He laughed again, then turned to glance at Izuku—slowly, deliberately—looking him up and down with an exaggerated smirk. “Look at Hero Deku here,” he said with a husky bite in his voice, half-mocking, half-showman. “He’s so big, strong, tactical little shit. He’s not gonna fall for some desperate romance side-quest.”
Behind him, Izuku shifted on his feet, his ears red, fidgeting with the hem of his gloves. “You… really think so, Dynamight?” he asked, voice quiet but hopeful.
“Fuck yeah, obviously,” Katsuki said, flopping an elbow onto the hood of the car beside them like he couldn’t be bothered. His hand ran through his hair lazily. “Takes more than glitter arrows to mess with our heads.”
