Theo snatches Corey’s phone from Alec’s shameless hands and clicks on the photo to shove it further in his face. It’s a blurry shot of oversized glowing stars in the sky, a rare occurrence in the increasingly light-polluted Beacon Hills night view, and it was obviously taken from the perspective of someone lying down—sprawled, even—across a forest floor. Presumably alone. And presumably bleeding out and delirious and left to die.
Lori jabs her finger at the screen supportively. “Look at those gigantic lights. What did we say? It’s gotta be UFO’s.”
“If I don’t get an explanation in thirty seconds of this bullshit and why you’ve dragged us all out here to witness it, your head is going to be the next UFO,” Theo threatens Alec.
At his side, Liam looks equally alarmed and impressed by the vitriol in his boyfriend’s voice.

This is an alternate universe fantasy fic where the events of the show happened somewhat similarly in this medieval Beacon Hills setting. Werewolves are known, and supernatural creatures rule the Kingdom of Kali, where the small town of Beacon Hill sits at the border. After Scott’s pack destroys a fear inducing monster, the Queen asks him to travel to the capital city in hopes of finding a notorious murderer who's been terrorizing her city for the last couple of months. Scott is spread thin, searching for those who turned on the citizens of Beacons Hill and have fled to the neighboring kingdom, he is unable to come to the capital himself. He sends his beta, William (Liam Dunbar) and although reluctant at first, Theodore (Theo Raeken) volunteers to go.
