Victoria cleared her throat, attempting to muster up the words that begged to escape her lips. They burned on the way out. “Y-You’re leaving… is that right?” A lengthy pause followed her question. This was all wrong. Her heart pounded in her chest; her fingers trembled with each tender second of silence - awaiting that dreaded response. She’d heard it echoed around the streets, she already knew the answer. She just needed to hear it from her. “That’s right,” Al confirmed. Her voice cracked on the last syllable. “Chicago.” No. “I see.” She remained faced the opposite direction.

He put on a strong act, looking more prepared than he truly was, but it was all bullshit. Vox was terrified.

He had no reason to be. Beside him stood Velvette, scrolling on her phone and giggling softly at whatever it was she was watching. They didn’t seem all that concerned with the situation, either. He had been even more prissy than usual about Vox being on time, like Alastor himself didn’t drool at the thought of being fashionably late and making an entrance. Well, no time like now, or whatever.”
Rosie is throwing one of her legendary parties, and everyone is invited! The night promises strong drinks, thrilling performances and wild dancing. And self combustion for Vox apparently, caused by one radio demon.
