April/May 2025: Updates have been made to several chapters thus far (and a drafted chapter was accidentally leaked by yours truly, oops 🤭) as I work through a particularly debilitating case of writer's block and real life being a pain in the butt. :,) I've done my best to indicate if changes have been made in the beginning notes of each chapter, so please be aware if you're (re)reading TMV. Business was slow as you sat patiently in the breakroom, waiting for something to happen. Something did happen eventually, but the customer that entered wore a dark raincoat soaked from the rain, sunglasses that hid half of their face, all the while looking like they were sizing you up.
