Jon rubbed his eyes sleepily, a yawn pulling at his shoulders before he let's out a deep sigh. He blinked down at the loose sheets for a statement on his desk, the words blurring together. He shook his head, his glasses slipping down his nose as he grumbles, "Ridiculous - who files paperwork loose like this?"Martin pulled his sleeves over his hands with a focused pout as he mumbles to himself, his eyes trained on the computer in front of him. His eyes flicked over the words and numbers quickly as he leaned into the legs that he'd curled into his chest an hour ago. He jumped when he heard a loud, "Gah!"

As soon as they were out of earshot, Tim turned to him.
“Oh. My. God.” He said, grinning. Martin was entirely too overwhelmed by whatever the fuck had just happened to respond.
“He asked if you were in the shop tomorrow? Fuck!”
Martin just gave an exasperated sort of noise. “S-sorry, have I missed something?”
“Right, right. No, I mean, it’s literally crazy to me that you don’t already know this, but Jon is, like, a total prick! All the time! I mean full-on irritable co-worker. Or at least, he was,” There was that grin again. To say Martin was taken aback was an understatement.
“I mean, I know he has a lot of work, but he never came off as irritable?” Martin said, astounded. Tim clapped him on the back.
“That, my friend, speaks volumes.”_____________
Or, Martin is a barista. Jon hates coffee. Somehow, he finds himself visiting Martin's shop every chance he gets.
