The spell is broken by a body pressing against his back. A pair of hands pushing the ratty bathrobe aside, sliding from his hips up his sides, cupping his tits. Deliberating, choosing. Down. Light, teasing, grazing the tops of the thighs as if in consideration. Then up until they encircle his belly firmly, fingers gripping tightly. A warm puff of air in his ear. A voice, low and husky.
"Keep absolutely still."
Kim has found the perfect way to keep his prey happy and sated. Not the most healthy way, but what can you do.

Kim politely doesn't mention that using getting fingered as a distraction from a gunshot wound is actually probably a little bit insane already. Instead he says, "Okay." and starts unbuckling Jean's belt. He's gotten quite good at doing it one-handed, practice he's now very grateful for.

He almost, almost, opens his mouth to say something about what had happened in that hotel room, but the memory of Jean's eyes as he'd stormed to the bathroom, the way he'd held up a finger at Kim as if commanding him, keeps his mouth firmly shut.
The quiet is broken only a minute later when Jean pushes his chair back and stretches. Kim's eye is magnetically drawn to the patch of pale skin exposed by the hem of his shirt riding up, lined with delicate white marks nearly hidden by the hair there. That night, Kim hadn't really been able to see much in the way of details, and he suddenly finds himself regretting that fact immensely.

Summary
Squinting at the ceiling, Kim tries to figure out what woke him so suddenly. It's still dark out, as far as he can tell. Maybe it was one of his companions getting up for the bathroom - Harry is hardly subtle when it comes to moving around at night.
Satisfied with that, he closes his eyes again, prepared to fall back into sleep without any trouble, but another sound has his eyes snapping wide open. In the dark silence of the room it could be as loud as a gunshot.
A very quiet, slightly muffled, moan, coming from the other side of the room.

Summary
Kim Kitsuragi is watching you throw up at a crime scene. Kim Kitsuragi has watched you throw up at a crime scene before and, like the first time, he doesn't even have the decency to look surprised. Authority grumbles in the back of your mind, but you're too tired to listen, too tired to make sense of the words at all, and that's when you realize something might actually be wrong.
Some time after the events of the game, Harry gets sick at a crime scene. Kim helps but also teases a little. Harry doesn't know how to listen to his body's signals anymore, if he ever did before. Harry doesn't remember if he's ever been taken home and fed soup and had his forehead touched to check his temperature, because Harry didn't only lose those bad adult years. Kim's kindness is repaid by the horrifying ordeal of being known, but at least maybe someday it'll mean he can accept help, too.
Not actually written in the style of Disco Elysium other than the opening and closing. Rated T for a brief mention of Harry's canon suicidal ideation.
(Ngl, this was supposed to be caretaking fluff, but then it turned into soft middle-aged men having emotions bc *gestures at game*)
