Summary
Akutagawa sighs. “You are being more difficult than usual, weretiger.” The exasperation coating his words is palpable, but it edges more into the soft folds of resignation than it does irritation—and the slight relaxation in the other’s brows as he looks out into the distance definitely isn’t an invitation, but it’s not rejection, either, and it’s more than enough to ignite childish hope in Atsushi’s veins.
“Well,” Atsushi tries. He swallows, turning away from the other to stare down at his hands instead. “I don’t think anything between us has ever not been difficult.”

Summary
If you live in Yokohama, you know.
Those five black towers, so ridiculously tall that they're blatantly visible from anywhere you look. For as long as everyone can remember, those towers cast their long, dark shadows on what would otherwise be a beautiful, idyllic port city. But it wasn’t all so bad. After all, without the shadow, how can we ever know what the light looks like?
Yet, there's something about these towers that not everyone in Yokohama knows, or will ever be able to know. One of them is actually a ten story mall.
And Dazai needs to go shopping.

“Fuck,” Zanka hisses, nail caught between his teeth. He scoffs. “Just like a fucking cat.”
Jabber smiles, straddling Zanka’s hips. “Want me to meow for you?”
His jaw tightens. For some reason, the look on Jabber’s face makes Zanka think he’s being serious this time. Dude. The growing pain in his head throbs. He shouldn’t be thinking about Jabber like this. He shouldn’t be here with him, period— and yet, still, here he is—
Jabber wants to play. Zanka just wants to go to bed.
(Alternatively: on an impromptu visit to the Cleaners’ Headquarters, Jabber discovers he really, really, likes Zanka’s teeth. Zanka should be disgusted, but much to his dismay, he isn’t.)
