Summary
Back at Stanford, distance had slowly made everything feel obvious. He'd started seeing pieces of his childhood differently there. It was small things at first. Maybe it wasn't so normal that Dean used to answer questions for him and that Sam used to instinctively look for Dean's approval before making decisions. Then there was the casual physical closeness that had once felt so natural until he started noticing nobody else leaned into their brother the way he did.
Then Dean walked back into his life and the clarity disappeared.
