"I'm cold, Robbie. Will you warm me up?" Elias asks softly with a limp tilt of his head, cold hands trailing slowly up Johnny's chest. "It's your fault, you know. That I'm freezing…" He cups Johnny's face with cold hands to emphasize his point, and it sends a chill straight down his spine.
Johnny frowns deeply at that, how badly he wished to breath life into him. He'd do anything — anything, just to bring the light back to Elias's eyes, even if just for a moment.

Smiles are a funny thing. If an animal greets you by a show of its teeth, you'd best back up if you don't want to chance getting bit. For any animal besides humans, smiles are a warning to pick up your arse and take it elsewhere. Which is to say that MacTavish’s smile taps a nerve that should've been bred out of humans at some early fork of evolutionary divergence.
Nothing's been the same since October 1st, 1998, and Ghost hasn't felt the sun since climbing out of Simon Riley's grave. When he finally finds it again, it's housed in the body of a sergeant he can't have.
Cold blooded creatures can't keep each other warm. But at least they can keep each other company.
