Summary
“Why are you kneeling, Damian?” his father asked, voice tight in a way the boy hadn’t heard before. He desperately wished he could look up and scan his face, but he knew better.
“So you may strike me if you wish,” Damian replied obediently. His father’s ways of embarrassing him were odd. Making him spell everything out was effective, he supposed, but it was still odd.
or
Damian learns about discipline in the Wayne household. He is distinctly and perpetually confused.

Summary
Talia took her son and fled the League to Gotham and her husband's side. She thought that their little family would be the only thing she cared for. To be fair, she wasn't entirely wrong.
Apparently, her husband's habit of finding and adopting stray children is infectious.

Summary
Damian was confused.
Damian prided himself on not being confused very often; it was unbecoming of the Heir of the Demon to misunderstand anything. He trained incessantly, to remember everything he was supposed to do and when he was supposed to do it, and what he was supposed to know and how to use that knowledge. His knowledge had never truly failed him before.
That is, it had never truly failed him in Nanda Parbat. Gotham, on the other hand, was a completely different monster, and Damian was… struggling.
Not failing. Never failing. Failing was one thing that the Ibn al Xu’ffasch could not do. Struggling was embarrassing enough. But it had become increasingly clear over the last few days that Damian had misunderstood – no, he had been misinformed of – his place in his Father’s household.

Summary
The first time Damian had endured solitary confinement, he’d been three years old. It was not, unfortunately, the last time his mother and grandfather had deemed that particular hell necessary for Damian to experience.
He prefers to believe that he has mastered the ability to undergo isolation.
That belief is challenged as soon as Grayson orders him to go to his room.
Or, Damian gets sent to his room after disobeying a direct order on patrol and it kind of, sort of, maybe triggers some anxiety and insecurities.
