Summary
Nearly a decade after clawing his way out of his own coffin, Jason returns to Gotham to settle old debts. In the apartment across the hall, Dick is haunted by his brother's presence everywhere he turns.
In four months, the clown will be dead."'Tis an unweeded garden that grows to seed; things rank and gross in nature possess it merely," Jason muttered under his breath, gazing up at the thunderous sky. The logical course of action would tell him to wait until summer, when the aches and pains were nothing more than a phantom, but the more satisfying conclusion held his interest. Four months—then he'd settle what he came to this graveyard of a city to do. It would be more satisfying in winter. A bookend to the life of Jason Todd, a cremation that he would rise from the ashes of. As who, he wasn't really sure.

When he got onto the roof, he scanned the skyline quickly. It was familiar, obviously Gotham, and Jason almost sighed audibly with relief—until he spotted the first difference.
A big rooftop billboard display in neon lights a few blocks away, advertising a “gentlemens’ club.” A billboard that had been torn down when Jason was seven.
“Fuck,” said Jason, nineteen years old and not having a good night.
OR: jason gets a chance to change some things.
