Summary
There is something startlingly uncanny about staring at yourself in the mirror for too long. At first glance, the reflection is easily recognizable as you, with your eyes and the familiar slope of your nose and the way your hair usually falls, but with prolonged looking, the lines of your face start to shift and blur, and suddenly the reflection before you is a stranger wearing features that are similar but different enough to yours that it makes your hackles raise.
Or, maybe it's just Dan that feels that way; maybe other people aren't entranced by their own reflections staring at them like they've never seen themself before.
Either way, that's what is going through Dan's head as he stares at someone who could only be him, but doesn't really look like him at all.

“What does that mean?” Dan asked plainly, Phil felt his body relax a little.
