The first time Mara hears Osiris laugh is while he is doing a poor job retelling a story Saint told him. The first time Mara sees Osiris finish a meal is when he cooks for them and makes some potato-filled stew recipe Saint devised. The first time Mara witnesses Osiris at a loss for words is when a Crow presses a purple strip of cloth into his hand and tells him she never got the chance to actually speak with Saint.
The first time Osiris lies to Mara is when she asks where Saint is now.

EMBRACE ME, LIGHTBEARER, AND BE A GOD OF DEATH.
When Osiris never returns from investigating Xivu Arath and Hive activity on the Tangled Shore, Saint takes it upon himself to find him.
There is a threat growing on the Shore, turning people into monsters that think only of bloodshed. Saint finds himself working with a young Lightbearer loaned to him by the Spider to unravel this insidious darkness, and hopefully recover Osiris before he is lost.

He walks slowly, almost carefully, but there’s finesse in both his stride and the gentle motion of his wrist when he pushes the cloak — or what’s supposed to be a cloak — back from where it’s draping over his shoulder. Shaxx’s seen this mannerism before, he knows it; the realization raises the hair on the back of his neck.
