Summary
Something is wrong with Wynn. It could be that she's getting married in less than a week to some stranger from a distant kingdom. It could be that she has to make the journey there with some skittish, oddly quiet mercenary(?) that doesn't seem to like her that much. It could be that she's been cursed since birth and has an odd minor god living in her body part-time. Who knows!

He laughs, “you don’t like my hair?”
“I’m sorry—I didn’t mean it. I really love it. It’s just that you're old and different now, it’s scary,” his hands scrunch into Will’s shirt.
“Okay. You’re very drunk,” he pushes Mike off of him gently. Mike’s arms clumsily reach out in an attempt to hold him again. “You know you shouldn’t compliment a gay guy like that. He might get the wrong idea.”
Mike furrows his brows at him. If he was sober, Mike would be able to pick up the sarcasm in his voice, but right now his brain is functioning at an all time low. “Good thing I’m gay then. That’s the idea I want them to have.”or
Will hasn't talked to Mike for two years. He's happily living his life at college in San Diego. Max's dad just so happens to have a beach house in the same place. So she brings them all on vacation.
Problems arise when Mike drunkly comes out to him. Why should that matter to Will though? He's over Mike.Title is a lyric from 'Actor' by Conan Gray

Finally, Nancy steps out into the hall. “Mike what do you—” Her expression shifted from annoyed to worried at the sight of blood painting the floor. Her eyes dart over to Will who pushes himself up to look up at them.
Will smiles widely with Mike's blood between his teeth.
Mike grabs Nancy and drags her back into her room, locking it behind him. “Something is wrong with Will.”
Or Will gets possessed again after returning to a Hawkins that's split in four.
