Choi Yeonjun and Choi Beomgyu have broken up two years ago. It was nothing big or messy. In fact, they have remained friends for the past two years with no issues at all. Until Beomgyu comes in with a wolf haircut which throws Yeonjun into having all sorts of feelings for his ex once again.

Summary
Yeonjun likes seeing how much he can push people, how far their patience extends and what their tipping point does to them. Usually, the tipping point is easy to find. A few jabs here, some deliberate oblivious behavior there, and a well-timed persistent nag is usually enough to set people off. They usually caved quite easily, too. It makes the restless energy relax just a little when he sees the way he can get under people’s skin despite how much they tried to be above such petty things.
Unfortunately for Beomgyu, he had become Yeonjun’s new favorite target.

Choi Beomgyu meets his crush of two years again after nine months of trying to get over him, bringing back a lot of memories and feelings that still linger in his mind.

Beomgyu honestly wants to faint. “You didn’t tell me he would be here,” he hisses to one of his closest friends, Taehyun, who has come together with him to the restaurant. Maybe fate is not at fault here. Maybe his demise originates from Kang Taehyun for not bothering to tell him that Yeonjun, the person he has been harbouring feelings for, is joining them at this mini gathering. Taehyun is the one who invited him to join them after all.
However, it seems like Taehyun refuses to have any of that because he shoots Beomgyu a look that says he does not want to deal with this shit right now. “First of all, I said it’s a reunion. Kai and I want to meet up with the people who have graduated before us, especially since we used to hang out a lot too. Of course, that includes Yeonjun too. Secondly, maybe if you had opened our group chat, you would actually see that Yeonjun has been talking a lot in it and he’s pretty excited to meet everyone after so long,” Taehyun deadpans.

Summary
After Yeonjun moved out, Beomgyu is left to pick up the pieces of his broken heart and put them back together by himself. But if they never dated and Beomgyu has never been in love with Yeonjun, why did his heart break?

“Did you break up with someone?” Taehyun prompts when Beomgyu still has not said a word.
“Is it a breakup if you’ve never dated, though?” the words leave his lips before he even realises it.
“In a way, yes,” Taehyun answers without even a hint of hesitation. “It’s still a loss to you and you’re grieving over it.”
“Grieving,” Beomgyu echoes mindlessly.
Is that what he is doing currently? Grieving over the loss of... whatever the arrangement that he had with Yeonjun? But why is it a loss to him? He is fine, he will be fine. If it never meant anything to Yeonjun to the point that he could just get up and leave, why should it mean anything to him too? That would just make him so pathetic. He refuses to be pathetic. His ex-girlfriend already made him feel pathetic enough back then and he has vowed not to put himself in the same situation ever again.
