    Summary

If it was 800 AD, Haaland would be raiding distant shores and killing wild boar on the ice. Instead, it’s the year 2026, so he’s been planted on a football pitch instead and pointed towards the other goal, and he’s storming the opposing team like it’s war, knocking over players like he’s in armor and they’re starving villagers with wooden swords. Jude has always thought so, at least.

He’s always thought too much about Haaland.

    -
Amidst Erling Haaland’s meteoric rise to fame during the 2026 World Cup, he gets shipped with his former teammate, and one of the few omegas in the league—Jude Bellingham.

It’s closer to the truth than people think.

“Did you know?” James asks, flipping the photograph over. There’s a date on the back, Seattle, November 1993- a year after Chris was born- in his dad’s neat print, and in Maverick’s handwriting: Wingmen.

    “Not a clue,” Chris confesses.

Or, Ice's son learns a thing or two about his late father.

    Summary

“Is he dead?” Max squawks, somewhere between stricken and relieved, eyes bugging.

The chief crouches to feel for a pulse and Susan goes rigid beside Billy.

“He’s mad at me,” she whispers so quietly he believes he’s the only one who hears. She’s quaking scared and Billy takes a step in front of her, putting himself between her and the cop.

“Yeah, Max, he’s dead,” he declares before he can change his mind, “I killed him.”

The chief’s head snaps up. Max inhales sharply, eyelids fluttering fast. Susan’s fingers clench so tight he feels her nails biting crescents into his skin.

The chief stands up, measuring Billy and Susan with an investigative gaze. Billy knows what he’s seeing. He’s seeing the blood splatter painted all over Susan’s clothes. He’s seeing the broken off tenderizer head, the bloodied and splintered wooden handle close by. He’s seeing Susan’s hands stained in red around Billy’s arm and the way Billy holds himself in front of her, guarding her from The Authority and the calculating eyes of The Authority that would identify even more of Neil’s blood splattered on her if he were to step aside.

    Summary

When the teacher turns away, Harrington sighs. Slouches in his seat. Tips his head back far enough that their eyes accidentally meet. It's not Harrington who looked away first. It almost never was. In the dream, though, Billy can look and look. And look, and look, and look. The devil doesn't mind about this part of him. Maybe appreciates how useful it is.

    Summary

    “So it was all fake?”

Billy straddles Steve's legs, shoving him back against the cold cement. He goes with the motion, suppressing a shiver as his shoulders hit the rooftop. Even as both are clad in their superhero costumes, his body feels rather… exposed.

"Yes,” Billy says, exasperation creeping into his voice. “And I said I'm sorry, okay?"

He hovers above Steve as he speaks, leaning down every few words to punctuate with a harsh suck against the exposed skin of his neck, as though hoping persistence alone might finally win the argument for him. “It’s all sorted, so can we just forget about it for…” Billy’s tongue traces the seam of his lips, and after a second, Steve sighs, allowing the other boy to dip inside, licking and nibbling at the soft flesh. “—better things?”

    Steve bites back a moan.

He shouldn’t be as turned on as he is. They're out in the open, in a place where anyone could see them. Yet when Billy grinds down, Steve's body betrays him, warmth igniting like a firework beneath his skin.

    They shouldn't.

But Billy has always been his weakness.
