What?
“What?” Foolish now questions aloud, stunned. He opens his mouth, but closes it immediately again, completely out of his depth in a scenario like this. Why did he rush here to tell him that? Foolish gulps, letting a hand run down his forehead, downwards, covering his eyes as he continues. There’s a hint of uncertainty in his voice. “You’re so stupid. I’m assuming there’s more to the story than that, right?”

Schlatt doesn’t say anything. Quackity doesn’t think he’d know what to say in his position either. He stands up, cautiously making his way over to the ram, letting the feathers of his wings brush against his sleeve.
He looks out the window, back at the communicator on the floor, and then at Schlatt. Who is making a point not to look at him.
”Schlatt, why did we break up?” His voice is just a bit louder than a whisper.
”Because,” He hums, low and almost quiet enough for Quackity to miss it, “I asked if you wanted to play superhero or stay. And you certainly didn’t choose to stay.”
