Summary
Victoré de Dzemael is the Warrior of Light - second son of House Dzemael, elder brother to Grinnaux de Dzemael, the fourth seat of Thordan's Knights Twelve. In the Singularity Reactor at the depths of Azys Lla, Grinnaux was assumed to perish by his brother's sword. Victoré finds him many years later, at the cusp of the Final Days, barely alive in Garlemald.
A "The Heavens' Ward survived Azys Lla, scattered to the corners of the world, and are still tempered to Thordan" AU with my Warrior of Light. Developed with several friends and deals with a lot of canon divergence even before the end of patch 3.0 content!

It’s an early interruption. A quarter past five, the fleeting fragment of the hour where Mista’s gun is stowed away, meaning there is nothing to impede his focus when she beckons his attention. “Abandoning whatever life you led before to spend all of your time watching nothing over my shoulder? Any regrets?”
“Working for you, or the circumstances?” Mista kicks back against the wall, staging a performance of taking his chin between index and thumb, gazing off into the distance at the curtains above her head. Deceptively contemplative, humming idly to the tune of a bygone conclusion. “Neither. I don’t regret a thing.”

The silent moments are always the most illuminating—and Zenos is silent often these days, curled like a lioness on a dead man’s throne, his eyes glazed over with some daydream Fandaniel isn’t privy to. And Fandaniel doesn’t think he particularly wants to be; he has borne witness to the inner workings of other beasts, felt their desires roil up within their machinery until they turned to steam. Zenos is no different from any other animal under his study. This one just walks on two legs.

"It's not!" Johnny protests, twisting the hare over the fire. "I got no idea where it comes from, but I swear it's a real word. Barbecue is stuff you cook slow, with smoke. It's great. When this is over I'm gonna make you come back to Kentucky with me so you can have real barbecue." He pauses, then adds, "And mint juleps. I bet you'd like mint juleps."
"Johnny, you keep saying words at me and I'm almost entirely certain they're fake," Gyro complains, starting to prepare the other hare. "What in the hell is a julep?"
