Summary
Ryland Grace loved many things about his life.
He loved his class. He loved teaching. He loved science. He loved his brother.
But he did NOT love watching Colt's stunts, as they terrified him greatly, but he still loved his brother enough to come to visit him in Montreal, Canada, for his latest shoot during the summer break. And he did NOT love the annoying actor who started flirting with him the moment they met, just to get under his brother's skin. And he did NOT love how that annoying actor started fawning over him and acting like a totally different person in private.
(OR: A typical Ryland visits Colt on set, Tom flirts with Ryland to piss Colt off, Tom catches genuine feelings, but doesn't wanna be a soft bitch around his people, so he reserves his genuine and kind character for Ryland in private.)

Peter winces. "Yeah."
In a masterful act of self-control, Ryland refrains from swearing once more. "Are you saying he encouraged it?"
"No! Okay, well, just a little. But not really? I swear, Mr. Stark didn't do anything wrong!" Peter stammers. "He—"
"I've heard enough," he says firmly, cutting him off. Internally, though, Ryland wants to scream; maybe bash his head against a wall for good measure. Of course, what happened during college would come back to bite him; of course, it would. Because why would good things ever happen to him?
Or: Ryland Grace finds out that Peter Parker is Spider-Man. Consequently, he meets with Tony Stark for the first time in years, roughly two decades after their college hookup. This is a problem.

17 year old Courtland Gentry plays football for his hometown, hiding the truth about his home life as carefully as he can in order to keep his brothers together. Everyone has a limit though.
15 year old Casey 'Driver' Gentry finds escapism using cars and working for the local mechanic after school hours.
14 year old Sebastian Gentry local academic overachiever, though he can't ever seem to get the desired grades, using jazz music to escape his house.
13 year old Colt Gentry is combative and rebellious playing football, doing wrestling and a whole career in detention.
13 year old Ryland Gentry is a grade ahead and on track to surpass another brother. Out of place and lonely, he gets an ego and angry.

Dean swatted at the hand, mildly surprised when it didn’t let go. People usually gave him a wide berth when he was asleep now, unsure what reaction he'd have from being woken up suddenly. The hand dug in harder, could feel the blunt fingertips push in under his collar bone.
“Dean, come on.”
Dean opened his eyes, ready to tell off Cas or Sam— whoever it was— for waking him so soon after he lay down. John Winchester stared down at him, brows knotted together with a grim look. Dean nearly launched himself backwards off the bed, banging his head sharply on the motel headboard and pressing himself bodily against it— far away as possible from the spectre in front of him.

Summary
Castiel’s father is dying.
As a registered nurse, he’s the obvious choice out of the four Novak boys to uproot his entire life to care for him, despite the fact that Castiel hasn’t spoken to his father in nearly 20 years. So he’s stuck living in rural Kansas with a cranky former pastor and a car that won’t run. Luckily the best mechanic in town takes interest in the broken-down classic, even convinces the old man to restore it. And that’s not the only thing Dean Winchester takes interest in.
Except in Lebanon there are things you just don’t do and Dean knows the rules. You wave at your neighbor, your butt is in the pew on Sunday and boys DO NOT kiss other boys. Castiel can’t be with a guy who’s still in the closet and Dean can’t convince Castiel that it’s safer that way.
That’s just how it is in Lebanon.

Linus glances at his phone looking for any messages. “Uh, no not quite yet……..” He quickly looks through his phone log for any missed calls. “Could I maybe have a few more minutes? I’m waiting on my boyfriend to get here….”
“Sure thing honey.” She says giving him a sympathetic look and going to take the order for another couple who just sat down.
Linus sighs people are starting to look at him with those apologetic looks and he knows his boyfriend has stood him up again, he checks his phone for the third time realizing that there’s no message, no apology or explanation, coming any time soon.
He sighs as more eyes focus on him and decides he’s waited long enough when a handsome stranger in a leather jacket who was easily old enough to be his father. “Sorry I’m late babe,” he announces loudly enough to get the neighboring tables to stop staring and mind their own business. “Traffic was crazy and the old bike was giving me issues, I’m Rusty by the way, just go with it, yeah?”
