Summary
In which Ryland kind of falls in love with his apartment neighbor. Now if only his brothers could stop acting like Casey was a threat to his safety. He was sometimes oblivious but not that dumb. He could make his own judgements thank you very much. The window for overprotective brother antics was far gone now. Court and Colt has to suck it up if they wanted back into his life.
OR
Like recognizes like after all. Court does not like the man that made a home by his brother's side and the feeling is mutual. Colt would like to say he's making an effort but he doesn't trust this Driver either. Ryland would very much like for the people he cared about to get along. He thinks he has earned it from what they put him through. And Casey? Well Casey already has what he wanted.

He learned how to roll from a moving car and leap from the ledge of a three-story roof with nothing more than a nerve-wracking flood of adrenaline. He survived flipping his car through pyrotechnic displays that would leave him reeking of smoke for hours. He had learned to protect his body in dangerous situations as part of his job’s optics.
Despite the training and his finely honed instincts, he forgot every lesson of self-preservation the moment he heard Colt’s bark of laughter cut through the roaring din of the bar’s crowd.

He thought that after Ryder was exposed to the world he would finally be free of this tangled mess that Gail and Ryder dragged him into, but this only proves that he is anything but free.
Thankfully, while Colt has known Casey for only a week, Casey has known Colt for 6 months and has made it his goal to keep him safe. In fact he's willing to cross lines that Colt never dared, all while he can't even look Colt in the eyes because it would make him too nervous.
