    Since he was a little boy Shane had despised the feeling of feeling powerless. As an omega he was faced with closed door after closed door and the frustration only grew the older he got.

    With a stroke of luck he manages to establish himself as a model, taking the bits of power he was allowed to wield as an omega and tries to take control of his life. However, the industry, the world of richness and power, is everything but certain for a young omega.

    When a handsome alpha has to step in at an event to save Shane from unwanted advances, was when everything would change for the omega. When Shane Hollander would meet his future husband Ilya Rozanov.

    Ilya let out a quiet laugh, shaking his head. “I want to be perfect for you, Shane. To make up for all the time we lost.”

    “I don’t want perfect,” Shane said quietly, stroking Ilya’s cheek. “I want something real. Something that we fight to make work, because we want it so much. Because being together is so much fucking better than being without each other.”

    Usually it's when he seems more withdrawn, when something reminds him of the things that make him sad, a memory about his mother, a nightmare about his father. Or after they lose a game, or when he's especially worn out or exhausted, or when he and Shane have been apart for a little too long (it's always too long). And sometimes it's just because he seems to need it in some inexplicable way, to reset himself and ground him in softness. 

    Shane relates to that.
