Summary
As his teammates finished off the enemy, Ren tried to make sense of his current state. Whatever it was, it was definitely getting worse. Sweat was beginning to bead on the back of his neck and he felt distracted, dazed. His heart was racing. He turned to Akechi, curious to see if he was experiencing the same thing. He was still lying on the ground on his back, but he tilted his head to the side to return Ren’s gaze. He was breathing heavily, his skin flushed and his hair sprawled messily out beneath his head. His expression was confused and searching, but there was also something else in his eyes, something smoldering. Despite the unusual circumstances, Ren found himself entranced by Akechi’s appearance. Why was he so beautiful right now? And why were his lips parted like that; so soft looking, so inviting…
