Summary
König had come to you with the idea after a recon mission in the forests of Canada. You both had to slink through the trees, looking for a hideout that contained some intel for a terrorist group the 141 was tracking down. At the end of each day, you met back up at your safehouse to report to Price over the radio. One night, you were caught up a little longer than usual with avoiding some of the men coming and going from the hideout. König came to find you, quietly tracking you down through the low-hanging branches and ducking around the same men you were. When your paths finally crossed, he had a bit of a wild look in his eye - you assumed it was from concern over you almost missing the check-in. The entire route back to the safehouse, he stayed close behind you, silent as a fox after a rabbit.
What you missed in the darkness was how his eyes were darkened, the sweat rolling down beneath his hood despite the chill of the evening.
