Summary
After a somewhat poorly planned trip to Xing with unexpected consequences, Edward and Alphonse Elric return back home to Amestris. They may have bodies that turn into a girl and some kind of tailless beaver-rat now when splashed with cold water, but that shouldn't deter them from their search for the Philosopher's Stone! Though it is a bit bothersome just how common cold water seems to be these days... that, and how Ed does not know how to feel about this cursed form of his or how people treat him in it.
But at least this martial artist named Ranma who got the same curse is probably doing fine. Right?

Summary
In 1992, the theatrical release of the second Ranma ½ movie treated viewers to a lot of out-of-character original storytelling with a peculiar focus on the lead character's bosom. Titillation of audiences aside, the film focused on a floating island whose Momotaro-inspired inhabitants came into conflict with the cast of martial arts weirdos.
Five years later, another manga series debuted that would also have a heavy focus on islands full of strange characters, magical transformations, and absurd battles.
The problem starts when one meets the other.

"And then there's a customized copy of PONY PALS, a gift to you on your 14th birthday from the slippery Mr. Strider. Each page contains lovingly hand-written commentary on the deeds of this intrepid young horse. Later, about halfway through the book, rather than see the gag through to the bitter end, Strider began pasting over entire pages of original text with his own completely rewritten version of the story, while keeping all the chapter titles. His revision is a tough, emotionally draining read. But it's cathartic, in all the worst ways possible.
He tends to get carried away with his projects."Note: this work is an altered book, and it plays on the physical relationship between the original pages and the edited text. As such, it's presented as a series of images. Reading the images is the only way to get the full experience, but I'm aware that some people can't/don't want to read it that way. So if that's the case, you can skip to chapter 13, which is a text-only version of the story, including rough descriptions of the most important illustrations.
