    Sakura is the type to dwell on the past, but he’s also the type to look toward the future. That combination is what drives him to never repeat history. He learns from his mistakes, and does his absolute best to never repeat them. It’s commendable. It’s admirable. Suo respects Sakura deeply for it.

    But it’s also a very slippery slope. And he thinks Sakura Haruka is a bit of a tortured, fraying, slipping boy.

    What scares Haruka the most though, it’s the people closest to him, his vice captains’ reaction. Suo and Nirei look at him a certain way sometimes, like they know.

    They poke and prod at him, make him lose his cool and his balance until he feels like an open wound. And it should be a bad thing, and there’s definitely a meanness to it, a bit of selfishness too.

    It should be a bad thing, but they are so kind about it.

    “The moon is beautiful isn’t it?” Suo speaks suddenly. It’s unfamiliar and he can’t seem to grasp just exactly what Suo is trying to convey to him with this weird, cryptic, but disturbingly obvious revelation of his but instinctively Haruka senses an intenseness in Suo’s gleaming eye.
