    Summary

On the final precipice of abstraction, Jax—against all reason, against all impossibility—glimpses the view from halfway down before he gives himself the chance to jump. The fall, after all, seems much worse when you’ve been given a better sense for what happens when you hit the ground. For better or worse, Jax now has his whole life ahead of him (or, at least, whatever counts as a life for a brain scan).

But it’s one thing, to decide that you don’t want to die. It’s another thing entirely to decide that you want to live.

(Or: It takes something like a miracle to stop Jax from abstracting. Fortunately, it just takes a hell of a lot of work to get her to figure out everything else.)

    Summary

Ever since Caine found out he had internet access, he realised that he could get the humans in real life to meet each other as he saw how sad the cast looked when they found out their human forms might never meet.

    OR

What if Caine gets the actual human TADC cast to meet? What if TADC was a show in this universe and the human cast were all fans of it but didn’t know the characters were their brainscans this entire time?

ALSO— what if Jax wasn’t a horrible person? (Jax’s true human self, at least) and what if Zooble and Jax were best friends?

All of these will be answered in this au!

    Summary

"We were so worried, we heard you—" Ragatha starts, and then looks up. She meets Jax's gaze dead-on, and goes silent. Tears brim in the corner of her eye. Her hand flies up to cover her mouth. He can't tell if the look on her face is relief or fear.

Gangle's staring at him like she's seen a ghost. Pomni slowly raises to her feet, brows furrowed. She winces as every movement jars her wavering form.

Cowered on the floor, panting, confused and disoriented, with everyone standing above him, taller than him… it reminds Jax of something deeply unpleasant. They're all staring at him. They're all seeing him.

Jax knows they're not going to like what they see.

His breath quickens until his head is spinning, and he feels like he's going to vomit. He forces himself upwards with a frustrated cry, swaying in place, and then turns and bolts towards his room as fast as he can.

    "NO!" Pomni screams.

(or: pomni pulls jax back from the brink.)

    Summary

It's been a few months since Jax abstracted and while everyone is coping in their own ways, Pomni is unable to move forward as successfully as them. Every night she returns to where Jax's abstraction form rests and it hasn't woken up. When she tries to touch him, all she feels is the effect of the abstraction. She can't reach him anymore, but she can't bring herself to give up. So she talks to him in hopes that he's there and can hear her, and maybe he'll come back to her somehow.

That hope doesn't stop guilt from creeping in. Part of her feels as though she's already given up on him if she's grieving. These feelings haunt her until Kinger introduces an idea to everyone- if they're all code, then the abstraction is code too. And all code can be altered if not deleted.

    Summary

    Pomni has a problem.

The Amazing Digital Circus has been raided by a new and advanced version of Generative AI that promises a wider, expanded world, a connection to the wider world via the Internet, and maybe, just maybe, a way to fix Abstraction. The problem is it’s a devil’s bargain that threatens more than it saves and the gang are becoming increasingly aware that there's a lot more going on than what it appears and they're going to need a lot of additional help if they want to figure out the truth.

    Abby has a problem.

She’s just received a desperate message begging her to reach out to five people she’s never met because if she doesn’t bring them together an entire digital world may come unraveled. It shouldn’t be her problem, except… It kinda is. After all the request came from herself (sort of).

Once more, six strangers will have to come together, united in a common adventure; once more, six friends will have to fight to save their home, because if the curtain falls on the Digital Circus, it may fall for everyone.
