Summary
Leon S. Kennedy is the newest artist at Raccoon City Ink, and struggling to find steady clientele. Maybe because he's still considered young for the job at twenty-three, or maybe because he's not had his own chair longer than a few months. But a spitfire college student takes a chance on his work, and he finds her good company. He didn't think much of it when she tells him she'll bring her brother along to their second session, just happy to have made a new friend.
Not until said brother walks in looking like chiseled granite with biceps bigger than Leon's head.

Things had been so good for so many years now—well, as close to good as they came. But now he was yet again faced with another life-threatening fight for the people he loved, he felt as if he had been thrown back into the deep of all.
When Claire had shown up at his doorstep unannounced, Chris had known something was amiss. What he hadn’t expected, however, was that for her to claim that his husband had run off on some sort of suicide mission.
The natural conclusion was to go after him.

Leon doesn't seem upset, though, leaning back against the stone baluster with a contemplative look. "Hmm. No, it's okay. Actually, it might solve our problems if people do think that."
"If people think… we're together?" The words feel strange in his mouth, almost expecting to be slapped for even thinking about it, but Leon nods slowly.
"I mean, would save us the trouble of inventing any fake spouses, you know? And this line of work doesn't leave much space for a relationship outside of it anyway. It makes sense, don't you think?"
God, does it make sense. If only Leon knew how often and thoroughly Chris had considered that it made sense. Well, perhaps it's still better he doesn't know. "Yes." Chris's voice comes out raspy, and he clears his throat and tries again. "Yes, it makes sense."

"Hello, kind shade," she greets. The shade turns a dark shade of green in embarrassment, but isn't deterred.
"Have you seen what Doom and the shade with wings are up to?" Gossip. Except… she doesn't know this gossip and she knows all the gossip in the Crossroads.
"No," she scoots closer to the shade, a smile on her face. "Tell me."

Although slowly, Zagreus begins to learn at last that there are people who genuinely care for him. And maybe, just maybe, it's not so wrong after all that one of those people is his childhood friend.

Teaching is always my top priority, I barely look to the sky most nights.” He lets out a wistful sigh, pulling his knees up to his chest and resting his head there. ‘I think I’ll have to make time for it, though. It’s beautiful, don’t you think?”
“Yes, I do,” but, Din isn’t looking at the stars. His eyes stay fixed on his lover, the starry-eyed Jedi.
Or, Din Djarin has been together with Luke for a week now and he couldn’t be happier. He still has a lot to learn about his lover, even stuff about himself, but he’s ready to face it head on- even if that means meeting his family...
