Quirkless. A label that once earned, is impossible to lose. Izuku Midoriya is quirkless. Always has been. Always will be. Meeting All Might didn’t change that. Foolishly saving Bakugou didn’t change that. Nothing ever will. But that isn’t the only thing that won’t change.
Izuku Midoriya will be a hero one day.
Even after getting rejected by UA and having his dreams dashed by his idol, Izuku still refuses to give up on his lifelong dream.
There might not be any quirkless heroes yet but there is a first for everything right?
OR
What if Izuku didn’t get One For All or get to go to UA but still ended up becoming a pro hero. With a different path, a different support system and maybe one or two people believing in him, who knows what could happen. This is that story.

MANGA/LEAK SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER 306
Midoriya Izuku left, leaving only letters behind in his place. He made a choice but what he didn’t expect was for those abandoned to make ones of their own. He underestimated his friends and soon they would show him just how much. They were in this together. Their fates had been intertwined from the moment the portals opened in the USJ and he truly was an idiot if he thought that his leaving would change a thing. He could choose to leave but it was up to Todoroki and Bakugou if they would choose to let him.
Spoiler Alert: they don't.
