Sociedades, pueblos y, posteriormente, civilizaciones.
Siguiendo el paso del tiempo, los pueblos y los asentamientos evolucionaron al mismo ritmo que sus moradores. Los hombres, primero rudimentarios, cazadores-recolectores, ahora se habían vuelto sedentarios, expertos agricultores y ganaderos, y creadores de incipientes ciudades-Estado.

“Oh I did,” the Prince snorts, a crook of a smile on his lips. “Judge was furious that a common pirate took his fancy tournament by storm.”
Zoro doesn’t reply, trying to consolidate the nervous omega he’d seen at breakfast with the spitfire that stood before him now.
Sanji takes another slow draw of his cigarette and then snarls, pulling himself to his full height and adjusting his stance to one of offense, one foot sliding back in a practiced move for balance. “I’ll have you know that it’s not just the strength of his heirs that necessitates a tournament of strength for my intimacy,” he smirks. “For all his talk about the weakness of omegas, Judge has sent many an alpha to my chambers before,” the blond explains harshly, his eye blazing. “They have never returned successful, or intact.”
Oh.
So that’s where the two sides converged.
The omega could fight.

The door, finally, painfully, opens fully. It would be redundant to say Kyouji expects Satomi to be standing there, but he does, really. He expects his scrawny little college sophomore, his cute little stray cat, in an ill-fitting dress and blotchy makeup and heels too small for him. And. Well. Well.
The fit of the dress isn't perfect, but it's pretty close. Kyouji can find someone to take it in.
Kyouji's not totally convinced this little idea of Satomi's is worth the risk. Thank goodness Satomi can be frightfully stubborn when he wants to be.

Iwaizumi has never particularly enjoyed seeing Oikawa cry. Partially because he really is such an ugly crier, and the amount of snot and tears he can excrete in such a short time frame is as gross as it is impressive. Mainly because it always makes something in his gut clench unpleasantly, like his intestines are twisting themselves into a knot, and he always gets a little desperate to make Oikawa’s tears stop, if only so that knot will go away. Even before they started dating in college, Iwaizumi wanted to avoid those tears as much as possible.
But right now, he’s not thinking about how to stop Oikawa’s tears at all, and the knot that used to form in his stomach whenever he cried has shifted dramatically from unpleasant to the exact opposite.
(or, Iwaizumi hates to see Oikawa cry, except for when he really, really doesn't)

“I — well, yeah. I meant that you know a lot about their meanings and stuff,” Bokuto amends. “I knew that roses were for love, but I didn’t really think about other flowers having deep meanings.”
“You’d be surprised how much you can communicate with flowers alone,” Akaashi says. “It’s helpful for when you can’t find the right words yourself. Might as well let nature take a stab at it.”
