He blanks out for the next few hours, only really coming to when he sees the familiar entrance of the studio in front of him — silver handle, cream door. Usually on these days he’d try to knock first, to see if anyone’s there, but he decides he’s too tired, and just hopes instead.
He’s barely able to stifle the sob threatening to boil and bubble out of him when he sees someone else curled up in the chair, instead humming the barest part of a greeting as Hyunjin turns to look, eyes widening.
It’s not the fact that he’s here in the wee hours of the morning, but Jisung’s vaguely aware of the tear tracks that shine under his eyes and trace his cheeks. Of course he looks like an alarm bell wrapped in a red flag with a sign that says “beware”.

The email he received said that Hana was placed in classroom D, and there were signs set up in the hallway pointing the bustling crowd of new students and parents in the right direction. He quickly scanned the signs to find the right one and headed that way. “Classroom D” soon came into vision, a cute decorated poster board with an arrow pointing inside the room taped to an easel placed next to it.
There were a couple of parents in the room with their children, huddled near the teacher’s desk and engaged in conversation. As Jisung put his eyes on the teacher, his anxiety crashed back into him at full force. Why is he hot?
